PORTRAIT DRAWINGS IN PENCIL
"MURPHY"
"I had the fortune of meeting Cheryl at the Parke County Covered Bridge Festival in Bridgeton, Indiana in approximately 2000
at which time I purchased one of her pencil art prints. The following year, I saw Cheryl again and I decided to commission her
to draw my beloved dog, Murphy, as a Christmas gift for my husband. Although Cheryl never had the fortune of meeting Murphy,
she was able to exactly capture his appearance and personality from the photos I had sent her. Every detail was amazingly accurate.
Working with Cheryl was such a great experience. She was efficient, personable and professional. Needless to say, my husband,
James, loved his present and has proudly displayed the work of art over our fireplace. Unfortunately, Murphy passed away in 2008,
but the treasure Cheryl created for us helps keep him close to our hearts every day. James and I highly recommend Cheryl to
create a work of art for any person who has a special pet in their family.
