"We met Cheryl at a Fine Arts Festival in Northern Indiana and invited her to meet our daugther Bridget,
who was 18 months old, and take photo references of her for a drawing portrait. The finished product was beautiful.
When our second and third children were 18 months old we lived in Virginia, so Cheryl couldn't meet them personally
or take their photos. Instead, we took references ourselves and mailed them to Cheryl. Those portrait drawings,
too, were wonderful. What I find particularly amazing is that Cheryl never even met the last two but still captured
their looks and also their personalities just from the photos!"
"Cheryl is gifted in her work. She has a talent to draw well but also to capture the spirit of her subjects.
We hope in the future to have a family portrait done to hang along side the children's drawings."
